U of S CI Participated in “Global Village”

On March 14, 2017, the Confucius Institute at the University of Saskatchewan participated in the “Global Village” multi-cultural activity at St. Thomas More College, organized by ISSAC (International Student and Study Abroad Center).

On March 14, 2017, the Confucius Institute at the University of Saskatchewan participated in the “Global Village” multi-cultural activity at St. Thomas More College, organized by ISSAC (International Student and Study Abroad Center).

The U of S CI demonstrated Chinese culture to all the audience and taught them how to write Chinese calligraphy and how to make paper-cutting. Many audience joined in the cultural experiencing activity and had had a wonderful time!

The panda dance, the zither performance and the Chinese painting demonstration also attracted a lot of audience, many of whom expressed their interest in Chinese language and culture and expressed their wishes to enroll in the CI Chinese language and culture classes.
