The Confucius Institute at the University of Saskatchewan participated in the Shakespeare on the Saskatchewan Festival organized by PotashCorp.
The annual Shakespeare Saskatchewan Festival presents a variety of art performances to Saskatoon residents, including drama, movies, art exhibitions, music, etc. On July 11, 2017, the U of S CI Dance Group was invited to perform a classical Chinese dance “Caiwei” at the festival. The beautiful Chinese costumes, the elegant dancing steps, and the charm of the eastern beauties brought to the audience great entertainment. At the end of the performance, all the audience gave the performers a great applause and lined up to have photos together with the performers.
