2017 International symposium-Internationalization, Education, & Social Development

On August 17-18, 2017, University of Saskatchewan Saskatoon, Canada, Co-organized by the College of Education, the College of Arts and Science, Confucius Institute, and the Department of Sociology at the University of Saskatchewan, Canada In Collaboration with Beijing Institute of Technology, Huazhong Agricultural University, and University of Lagos


This Symposium will focus on critical issues related to local, national, and international challenges and advances in elementary, secondary, college, and university education. Special attention will be paid to its reform, internationalization efforts and strategies in these institutions, and consequences of these for social development in China and Canada. The Symposium will afford Chinese, Nigerian and Canadian colleagues from Beijing Institute of Technology, Huazhong Agricultural University, the University of Lagos, and the University of Saskatchewan an opportunity to exchange views and share ideas.
