CI Participated in Saskatchewan Polytechnic Intercultural Week

The Confucius Institute at the University of Saskatchewan took part in the Saskatchewan Polytechnic Intercultural Week.

On March 24, 2016, on the invitation of Saskatchewan Polytechnic, the Confucius Institute at the University of Saskatchewan took part in the Saskatchewan Polytechnic Intercultural Week.

The Dance Group of the Confucius Institute performed “Charm of Yi Village”, a dance of a Chinese minority ethnic group, Yi. Mr. Yi Wang, the art director of the Chinese Music Group of the Confucius Institute played the traditional Chinese musical instrument: Hulusi to the audience. Their performances were highly appreciated by all the audience.

During the Saskatchewan Polytechnic Intercultural Week, there were a lot of chances for the demonstration of and exchange between many different cultures all over the world. The participation of the Confucius Institute at the University of Saskatchewan not only helped to promote multicultural integration and development in Saskatoon, but also helped strengthen the ties between the University of Saskatchewan and Saskatchewan Polytechnic.
