The USask CI Joined in the Chinese New Year Celebration Organized by ISSAC

On February 8, 2019, the International Students and Study Abroad Center (ISSAC) of the University of Saskatchewan organized the Chinese New Year Celebration at ISSAC. The Confucius Institute at the University of Saskatchewan were invited to join in the four-hour long activity.

On February 8, 2019, the International Students and Study Abroad Center (ISSAC) of the University of Saskatchewan organized the Chinese New Year Celebration at ISSAC. The Confucius Institute at the University of Saskatchewan were invited to join in the four-hour long activity.

The USask CI not only performed the panda dance, but also brought to the celebration a lot of Chinese style materials for cultural display and experience, such as paper cutting, Chinese knots, Beijing Opera masks, lanterns, Chinese calligraphy, etc. The audience also had the chance to taste the delicious Chinese foods such as the spring rolls and Chinese dumplings.
