On March 23, the Confucius Institute at the University of Saskatchewan participated in the International Mother Language Day Event at the USask Quance Theater organized by the Bangladesh Undergraduate Student Federation. This event was intended to promote the diversity of mother languages all over the world, as well as the development of multi-culturalism in Canada.
The USask CI volunteer played the zither to more than 100 audience. Performers from the Canadian First Nations, South Asian countries, Latin American countries, and European countries also performed dances, lyric reading, and music.
