2023 Saskatoon Chinese New Year Celebration

On January 21st, 2023, the Federation of Saskatoon Chinese Canadian Organization (FSCCO)and the Confucius Institute at the University of Saskatchewan (USask CI) co-organized the 2023 Saskatoon Chinese New Year Celebration at the Saskatoon TCU Place Grand Salon.

More than 400 audience attended the event, enjoyed dinner, and watched the entertainment show.  At the beginning of the celebration, His Worship Charlie Clark, Mayor of the City of Saskatoon; Mr. Zhuoyang Li, Chair of the FSCCO; Dr. Ning Liu, Co-Director of the USask CI, and other honorable guests of sponsor representatives delivered remarks and New Year wishes to the audience.

Performers from the USask CI, the Chinese Dance School of Saskatchewan (CDSS), the Chinese Martial Arts Academy, and artists from China and the local communities put on a great show for the evening.
