On October 22, 2017, the Confucius Institute at the University of Saskatchewan organized the “China Culinary Experience” activity – dumpling-making – at Juniper House, Saskatoon.

The U of S CI Co-Directors, the Administrative Coordinator, and the volunteer teachers all came to the event to teach the U of S CI students how to make dumplings.

More than 40 CI students participated in this event. They learned not only how to make dumplings but also some knowledge about Chinese culinary culture and traditional Chinese festivals.

This event was also the farewell party to say goodbye to the 2016-2017 CI volunteer teachers. All the students expressed their gratitude to the volunteer teachers and wished them a bright future.
