U of S CI Participated in “A Taste of Culture” Event

On June 2, 2018, the Confucius Institute at the University of Saskatchewan took part in “A Taste of Culture” event organized by Saskatchewan West Development Museum in North Battleford Immigration Center, on invitation, along with Saskatchewan Chinese Dance School. More than 2,000 audience came to this cultural event which aimed at the integration and development of multi-culturalism by displaying different cultures of the world.

The U of S CI performed “Dance with the Lions”, Chinese dance “Charm of Yi Village”, zither performance, and Qipo Show, at 3:30pm, 5:00pm, and 7:30pm respectively.

The performances presented by the U of S CI left deep impressions to the organizers and audience. They expressed their strong wish to invite the U of S CI to join in their event in the following year.
