On March 21, 2017, the Confucius Institute at the University of Saskatchewan took part in the “Family Night” event in Gordon Oak Red Bear Center.
This event was organized by the U of S Aboriginal Student Center as part of the “Building Bridges” initiative. The CI brought to the audience “Panda Dance”, “Taichi Fan” training, calligraphy and paper-cutting practice. Both the parents and the students were deeply involved in the Chinese cultural experience and expressed their interest in Chinese culture and their willingness to explore Chinese culture further and learn Chinese language.
