U of S Scholars Participated in BIT International Symposium

On October 15, 2018, Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT) co-organized the “China-Canada-Africa Symposium: Globalization and Localization of Higher Education” with the University of Saskatchewan, Canada and the University of Lagos, Nigeria, at the International Exchange Center of BIT.

On October 15, 2018, Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT) co-organized the “China-Canada-Africa Symposium: Globalization and Localization of Higher Education” with the University of Saskatchewan, Canada and the University of Lagos, Nigeria, at the International Exchange Center of BIT.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                n

More than 50 scholars from the three universities participated in the symposium. The U of S delegate is made of six members, the U of S Associate Vice-President Research Professor Darcy Marciniuk, the U of S CI Co-directors Li Zong and Ning Liu, Professor of Sociology Harley Dickinson, Professor of Education Don Cochrane and Jay Wilson.
                               
The Vice-President of BIT Professor Wang Xiaofeng, the Director of the Development and Planning Division of the CI Headquarters Mr. Wang Yong, the President of the University of Lagos Professor Oluwatoyin T. Ogundipe, and the Associate Vice-President Research Professor Darcy Marciniuk made the opening remarks.
