USask CI Participated in “Saskatoon Basant Kite Festival”

On June 9, 2019, the Confucius Institute at the University of Saskatchewan were invited to take part in the “Saskatoon Basant Kite Festival” organized by Saskatoon Dawat Club at Meewasin Park. Many organizations from different cultural backgrounds joined in this cultural display and exchange event.

The USask CI and the Saskatchewan Chinese Dance School together brought to more than 1000 audience four Chinese art performances, including Chinese folk dance “Hong He Gu”, children dance “Yellow Bird”, solo dance “The Butterfly Lovers”, and Qipao Show.
