USask CI Performed at North Battlefords

On June 1, 2019, the Confucius Institute at the University of Saskatchewan and the Saskatchewan Chinese Dance School went to North Battlefords on invitation to perform at “A Taste of Culture” organized by Western Development Museum. This cultural event aims at celebrating the successful multi-cultural integration and development of the local communities by means of international cultural display, including food culture, art performances, artifacts display, etc.

USask CI brought to more than 1000 audience four Chinese-style art performances: Lion Dance, Chinese Zither performance, Qipao Show, and the traditional Chinese dance “Mei Laozi”.

The Saskatchewan Chinese Dance School performed Dragon Dance and Chinese dance “Good Luck”.
