U of R CI Visited U of S CI

On January 15, 2018, the Confucius Institute at the University of Regina (U of R CI) came to visit the Confucius Institute at the University of Saskatchewan (U of S CI).

On January 15, 2018, the Confucius Institute at the University of Regina (U of R CI) came to visit the Confucius Institute at the University of Saskatchewan (U of S CI).

The U of R CI delegates include U of R Vice-President Administration and CI Board Chair Mr. Dave Button, CI Canadian Director Ms. Li Liu, CI Chinese Director Ms. Lu Gan, CI Administrative Coordinator and two volunteer teachers.

The U of S CI representatives to welcome the U of R CI delegates include U of S Associate Vice-President Research and Chair of the CI Management Committee Mr. Darcy Marciniuk, CI Directors, Administrative Coordinator, and the five volunteer teachers.

Accompanied by the U of S CI Administrative Coordinator Ms. Dan Zhao, the U of R CI took a campus tour and then visited the U of S CI. They were all impressed by the beauty of the U of S campus and the good condition of the U of S CI administration offices.

Then the two Confucius Institutes held a meeting in the U of S CI classroom, exchanging experiences in Chinese language and culture teaching, organizing China study tour for students and staff members, promoting cultural and academic exchange, teacher training, etc. The two Confucius Institutes also explored the potentials for further collaboration.
