On February 7, 2019, the Confucius Institute at the University of Saskatchewan were invited by the Saskatoon Open Door Society to join in the “Saskatoon Annual Diversity Awards Gala” held at Saskatoon Delta Bessborough Hotel.
The USask CI performed zither, erhu, and lion dance for the gala, which brought happiness and entertainment to the gala. The USask CI’s participation and performances were highly recognized and greatly appreciated by the organizers and the audience.
