U of S CI Signed Renewal Agreement with SOHL

On January 15, 2018, the Confucius Institute at the University of Saskatchewan, together with the Confucius Institute at the University of Regina (U of R), signed the Renewal Agreement with Saskatchewan Organization for Heritage Languages Inc. at Room 203, Arts Building, the University of Saskatchewan.

On January 15, 2018, the Confucius Institute at the University of Saskatchewan, together with the Confucius Institute at the University of Regina (U of R), signed the Renewal Agreement with Saskatchewan Organization for Heritage Languages Inc. at Room 203, Arts Building, the University of Saskatchewan.

The signing ceremony was hosted by Ms. Diane Martz, the Director of the U of S International Office. The U of S Associate Vice-President Research and chair of the U of S CI Management Committee Mr. Darcy Marciniuk, the U of R Vice-President Administration and chair of the U of R CI Board Mr. Dave Button, and the president of SOHL Mr. Adesegun Akintunde signed the Renewal Agreement on behalf of the three parties respectively.

According to the Renewal Agreement, the three parties will continue to collaborate in promoting Chinese language and culture classes in the elementary and high schools of the province of Saskatchewan.

Many people witnessed the great event, including representatives from SOHL, the U of S CI, the U of R CI, and the Saskatchewan Chinese School.
